Description
PGO 7 telescopic optical sight for the RPG 7 rocket launcher. The sight has a 2.7 fixed power magnification with a 13 degree field of view. The sight has a range finding scale for typical tank targets with a height of 2.7metres. The maximum sighting range is 500 metres. There are windage adjustment scales. The sight is made from metal, rubber and has clear polymer lenses. The scope is attached to the rocket launcher by a detachable mount.

The PGO 7 telescopic sight is issued with RPG 7 rocket launchers to enhance the hit rate effectiveness when using extended range capable munitions. The PGO 7 telescopic sight was standard issue to Iraqi Army units issued with RPG 7 rocket launchers. The RPG 7 rocket launcher was the standard infantry anti tank weapon issued to the Iraqi Army. This sight was confiscated by Australian forces serving in Iraq in 2006.
